Alissa Wakeley

We are pleased to introduce Alissa Wakeley, a highly skilled Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist at Renton Highlands Pet Clinic. Alissa's journey in the veterinary field began after completing her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science/Pre-Vet from Washington State University, where she gained a solid foundation in animal care and welfare.

Beginning her Veterinary career in 2011, Alissa's expertise and dedication are truly commendable. Her passion for providing exceptional care to our furry patients is evident in her daily interactions and the level of attention she devotes to each case.

In her personal life, Alissa shares her home with two cherished feline companions. Indigo, an elderly gray/white Domestic Medium Hair, and Violet, a young gray Domestic Short Hair tabby, bring joy and warmth to Alissa's everyday experiences.

When Alissa is not at the clinic, she enjoys indulging in various hobbies and interests. She finds solace in reading, embraces the meditative practice of hot yoga, and eagerly supports Seattle Mariners, Seahawks, and Sounders as a dedicated fan. These activities allow her to find balance and rejuvenation, ensuring she can provide the best care possible to our patients.

Alissa's professional goals revolve around educating pet owners about important aspects of pet care, with a particular focus on dental health and nutrition. By sharing her knowledge and expertise, she aims to empower pet owners to make informed decisions and ensure their furry companions lead healthy, happy lives.

We are grateful to have Alissa as a part of our team, and her commitment to animal welfare and exceptional client service makes her an invaluable member of Renton Highlands Pet Clinic.
