Urgent Care

Renton Highlands Pet Clinic is excited to announce our Urgent Care services! We offer supplemental urgent care to streamline the emergency care needs of our community.

Overview

Urgent Care treatment will be provided on a case-by-case bases and is intended to treat those pets with minor injuries or concerns and are seen by appointment. Any urgent care patients in need of more advanced treatment may be referred to a critical care or 24-hour hospital.

Please contact us if you feel your pet is in need of Urgent Care so we can help you make the best decision on where your pet should be seen.

Examples of some Urgent Care exams include:

  • Vomiting and diarrhea

  • Red eyes, painful eyes, squinting

  • Bloody urine - but still producing normal urine volume

  • Wounds and injuries, abscesses

  • Lameness, trouble walking

  • Hives without change in behavior or without facial swelling

  • Coughing without trouble breathing

  • Lethargy or poor appetite for less than 2 days

  • Constipation
